1. Click here to log in. (It will open in a new window.) Your username is your first initial and last name (all lowercase, ex. pcarlson) and the password will be given in class.

After you log in, it will take you to your Dashboard. You can’t do anything with it yet because you don’t have a site yet, but you can click on the profile button to change your password. When you’re done with this page, you can close the window and return here to the instructions.

2. To create your blog, go here: https://aam.pmcarlson.com/wp-signup.php. (It will open in a new window.) Choose a site name (doesn’t have to be the same as your username) and a title for your blog. Under “Privacy”, choose “No” for search engines–otherwise you will find yourself ‘published’ before you’ve even added a post. When you’re ready, take the plunge and click “Create Site.”

3. You will get a screen confirming that your site has been created. Click on the link to your new site.
